Businessman, blogger, and poet, Clive Birnie lives in Portishead in the UK with his wife, a daughter and a crazy French dog called Trotsky. Clive has had poetry published by Qarrtsiluni, Popshot, Message In A Bottle, Snakeskin and The Delinquent. He has also had several flash fiction pieces and a visual poem published by The Delinquent. In February 2011 he completed a seven poem commission for The Brewhouse Theatre, Taunton, UK and most recently (October 2011) was short-listed in the Wells Festival of Literature Poetry Competition. New work to be published in 2012 includes poetry in Inc.zine #5 in May 2012 and an 11 poem experimental sequence titled "Terminal Insemination Art" which will be published by Silkworms Ink in June.
Clive is MD / CEO of the consumer goods business Severn Delta and has been blogging about that experience and other things on and off since 2004 at his blog Positive Churn. He is a partner in the open source ERP software business uzERP LLP.
