Charlie Love was born and raised in Charlotte, N.C., lived in Washington, D.C. for a while, and was lured to San Francisco in 2007 by a passion for the web. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's School of Journalism and Mass Communication with a bachelor's degree in graphic design.
