Brian Dunn has an extensive and impressive background in coaching all facets of youth lacrosse starting in 2006 to present day. Coaches at all 4 tiers of Youth Club Lacrosse: National, Regional, Select, and Rec.

Coaching Philosophy:

Brian Dunn coaches based on the philosophy that its not just about the game; its about the holistic development of the player in mind, body, and LAX IQ. Developing young people of character is the primary objective through the means of the game of lacrosse.

Background:

Brian Dunn was exposed to the game of lacrosse at a very young age by his father, Paul Dunn, who played at Brown University. Even though there was little to no lacrosse programs in Orange County, CA in the early 90's, he took up the sport at Corona Del Mar High School in Newport Beach when one of his buddy's approached him asking to help recruit and start the sport at the school (**CDM has gone on to be one of the top schools in California for LAX). After High School, Brian went on to play at Chapman University during his college years where Chapman Men's Lacrosse was two-time runner up at the National Championships. He began his college career by playing close defense and moved to the mid-field during his senior season where he specialized in face-offs.

Once Brian graduated with his degree in Finance in 2009, he went on to start his coaching career in Orange County, CA with a variety of clubs and programs ranking from the national level to the rec level. Coach Brian Dunn has been a huge proponent and influence in the development and popularity of the sport within Orange County and its surrounding areas.
