Cody Saltsman

A generous contributor to his school and the wider community, Cody Saltsman stands out as a senior representative of the Steubenville High School Key Club in Steubenville, Ohio. He has appeared on behalf of the Key Club at several fundraisers and school events, including a patriotic school assembly that garnered mention in the local media. An enthusiastic participant in Key Club fundraisers and service projects, Cody Saltsman also volunteers his time on an individual basis in elementary schools, nursing homes, and community events across his hometown. Such events include a holiday parade in the winter of 2012, during which Cody Saltsman and a friend worked five hours a day to repurpose a school bus as a children's float.

An accomplished student athlete, Cody Saltsman plays as both a wide receiver and an outside linebacker for the Steubenville High School football team. Also a center fielder for the school's baseball team, he has competed on school athletic teams for a total of 12 years. He has been contacted by football teams from colleges such as Princeton University interested in recruiting him, and he plans to select a college with a strong physical therapy program.
