Colin Geissler

I help people and organizations create better learning experiences, often employing computer and mobile technologies, by helping them understand the 'why' of learning. This understanding quickly leads to the 'what' and 'how'.

I work primarily in the Edmonton, Alberta area, but I have had clients and projects from all over the world. I have developed e-learning from scratch myself; worked on a multi-national teams of designers and SMEs; been brought in to work on single courses (and have faithfully followed the organizations design standards); lead teams of software developers 12-time zones away; and developed the training plans and schedules for a large system deployment.

Over the past 14-years I have consulted with, questioned, perturbed and helped my clients develop insight into what learning is and what they should be doing to encourage it.

As a Certified Scrum Master I can apply different techniques and processes to project management so designs are iterative and make the best use of resources.

I love projects. I love new challenges. In the evenings and on weekends I love spending time with my wife and 3 children at home and on our adventures around the globe.
