Colleen Connolly

A young professional with a wide skill set, Colleen Connolly attended Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos, where she pursued a course of study in education and human development. In 2003, Colleen Connolly matriculated at Texas A & M University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with a competitive grade point average. Moreover, during her time at Texas A & M, Ms. Connolly held a spot on the dean’s list every year, and was recognized by Who’s Who Among College Students for her exemplary scholastic performance. Upon graduation from Texas A & M, Colleen Connolly began her professional career in Houston’s Cy-Fair Independent School District as a kindergarten teacher. In this capacity, she designed a unique curriculum designed to actively engage students while ensuring they met state guidelines and standards. An attestation to her interpersonal communication skills, Ms. Connolly also participated in several school groups and held individual tutoring sessions with students and their parents. Colleen Connolly’s most recent job in the field of teaching was in Houston’s Spring Independent School District as a pre-kindergarten teacher. Here, as a Language Proficiency Assessment Committee (LPAC) representative and active participant in admission, review, and dismissal (ARD) meetings, Ms. Connolly proved herself a valuable asset to the functionality of the district. A devoted professional, she also collaborated with parents and held membership in several educational committees. To supplement her professional career, Colleen Connolly commits her free time to a number of charitable organizations and events. One such group, Self-Improvement through Riding Education (SIRE), aids individuals with disabilities by teaching them how to ride horses. She also donates time and money to local women’s shelters and church organizations, in addition to participating in annual drives for children who need new school supplies. Presently, Colleen Connolly is looking to expand her professional career into different fields. Drawing upon her established reputation as a team player, multitasker, and creative problem solver, she is considering options in areas including sales and administration.
