I am a public health researcher and teacher who is interested in Social Epidemiology- or the study of the patterns of health and illness in populations as they relate to social and societal factors. Mainly right now I am studying disadvantage in kids, especially those in rural settings, in the Canadian north and other places where macroenvironmental change is happening at a really rapid pace (like Mongolia).
