BEHIND "Consuete"

Ever since I was a child, art has been a critical part of my life. My blog "consuete" features my work in urban sketching, which involves finding a place to sit on the street and drawing what I see in front of me. My inspiration in urban sketching was built on the concept that it requires all my senses to absorb and interpret the environment as I experience it. When I reflect back on a piece, I remember the sounds, the air, and the conversations that I engage in with passersby. I believe urban sketching is the best way to travel, learn about new cultures, and create lasting memories of places and things. "Consuete," the latin term for "common," refers to how I transform common things into works of art through urban sketching.

I would love for you to share this next pursuit in art with me. I appreciate every piece of constructive criticism, suggestions, encouragement, and questions.
