Welcome to my "About Me" site. I spend most of my time during the day as a wetland scientist and regulatory project manager in Concord MA where I have worked since 2000. After obtaining a degree in fisheries science and working with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Admininstration I found myself changing course based upon new and developing interests. Currently I am the Vice President of the Society of Wetland Scientists (SWS) Northeast Chapter, Editor and Board Member with the Association of Massachusetts Wetland Scientists (AMWS), and a member of the Connecticut Association of Wetland Scientists.

I am also the proprietor of "Turtles Crossing Wildscape Services" and a corporate member of the Ecological Landscaping Association (ELA) with Cascade Designs Inc. During my spare time I am also an avid gardener, especially for wildlife, and a volunteer with the Chelmsford Conservation Commission in my home town of Chelmsford MA.

My blog site "Turtles Crossing" is the convergence of personal and professional interests and experiences. In it I try to share my love of the natural environment with anyone that will listen and perhaps even excite some of you to consider inviting mother nature's creatures into your own back yard.
