Corset Lore is the solo, electronic music project of Tamara Yadao, composer/musician who began playing piano at the age of 4. She writes electronic, avant-pop music in a lyrical and baroque style using Game Boys, synths and vocals. Among others she has performed her music at the Hackers on Planet Earth conference in NYC, OPENSIGNAL at Brown University, a main stage set at Super MAGfest, Centre Pompidou in Paris, I/O chip music, Trans-Pecos, Vector Festival, Pulsewave NYC, 8static Festival and PAX East. She is also the recipient of a Jerome Fund commissioning grant from the American Composer's Forum.

Current complations include “Chip for Change 2020” an ACLU benefit from Bitcrushed and Pterodactyl Squad’s "Train Radio" featuring 25 artists drawing inspiration from Minoru Mukaiya’s Japanese train station jingles. Her debut EP, "Corset Lore" was released on the 8static imprint in 2013 with artwork by IMAGIMA / imagima.com. Her second album "Graces and Furies" was released in 2016 by 8bitpeoples.com with artwork by Raquel Meyers / raquelmeyers.com.

Recent and upcoming projects include original music contributions for SNES styled RPG, Twilioquest 3, upcoming concept ep "81 Terpsichore" in 2021 and most recently, Fried Tofu Recordings’ “Remedy”, a benefit comp for the Asian Mental Health Collective.
