Highland, UT

Five years ago my wife and I moved from San Francisco back to Utah. Now that we're back I'm enjoying the outdoors - skiing, hiking, camping, and trying to find what sort of good food Utah has to offer. And now that I'm gluten free, sometimes that's a challenge!

I like to read books, watch good movies, play sports, and coach my kids' soccer and basketball teams. I am heavily involved in using social media as a business tool and love trying the latest gadgets. I like taking my 4 kids and my wife into the great outdoors to explore and perhaps roast a few marshmallows. I like dogs...boxers in particular including our family boxer Scout.

When people hear I'm from Utah or that I have four kids, I often am asked if I'm Mormon. I respond, "you bet I am...it's a great church!" Sometimes people ask me why and so here's the deal. I'm active in my local Mormon congregation in many ways and I appreciate the opportunity that it has given me to serve others who are in need. I want to sacrifice in my own life (both of my time and of my means) so that I can help others. Additionally, I read from the scriptures daily, study the life of Jesus and teach my children in our home the principles of being a Christian that they need to know to activate the guiding compass within them.

I believe it. The more I learn, the more I talk about it, the more I LIVE it....I've come to realize that the principles taught are not just good, but godly principles. Being a Mormon helps me feel closer to God and deepens my commitment to him and my relationship with my wife. Being a devout Mormon brings me great happiness in my life and it gives me opportunities to help others in my community. Just ask me!
