Courtney Leddell

Entrepreneur and physician Dr. Courtney Leddell commands more than a decade of experience in anesthesiology. The recipient of an M.D. from the University of Illinois College of Medicine, Dr. Courtney Leddell completed a four-year residency in Anesthesia at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. Currently, he simultaneously serves as Vice President of Consulting Anesthesiology, LLC, and as the co-founder and Chairman of the Glockner Group, a company focused on medical software development. Prior to joining Consulting Anesthesiology and launching the Glockner Group, Dr. Courtney Leddell served as the Vice Chair of the Department of Anesthesia at the Advocate BroMenn Medical Center in Normal, Illinois. In this managerial position, Dr. Leddell supervised a team of anesthesiologists and oversaw the anesthesiology needs of numerous departments facility-wide, including pediatric surgery, cardiac surgery, and neurosurgery. Additionally, he managed the purchase and acquisition of drugs, gases, and equipment for his department and ensured hospital staff had access to the latest technologies. In 2011, Dr. Courtney Leddell began to focus more on the consultancy side of the healthcare industry after joining the Normal, Illinois-based company, Consulting Anesthesiology, LLC. His current focus with the firm includes closely monitoring all anesthesia-related documentation and maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations regarding the use of anesthetics. Since founding the Glockner Group in 2010, Dr. Courtney Leddell has worked through that firm to integrate cutting-edge technologies into the medical community. The company has developed a specialty charting application for use by surgeons and support staff and has created several patent-pending software programs aimed at giving clinicians easy-to-use tools to better treat patients. Dr. Leddell currently supports his local African-American Methodist Church, and has donated to Catholic Charities USA and The Baby Fold to aid orphans. He is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the American Medical Association.
