Craig Hooson

A licensed CPA and experienced corporate controller, Craig Hooson has helped several prominent biotech companies restructure their finance departments and adhere to necessary regulations. As the corporate controller for medical device firm Teleflex, Mr. Hooson helped implement an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system and redesign their SEC reporting system, and as the Vice President of Finance for biotech company Emergent Biosolutions, he supervised preparations for the firm’s S-1 filing. Most recently, Craig Hooson directed the implementation of SOX controls and helped increase operational performance within a $450 million division of Chemtura, a $3 billion chemical manufacturing company headquartered in Philadelphia.

Craig Hooson, who holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the University of Southampton, completed a master’s degree in finance from Johns Hopkins University and earned an MBA at Pepperdine University. Over the past 15 years, he has become highly experienced and knowledgeable in numerous aspects of corporate controlling, including SOX controls, GAAP implementation, and SEC filings.

Outside of his professional life, Mr. Hooson maintains an active presence in his community through his volunteer work with nonprofit organizations and charity events such as Relay for Life and Walk for the Cure. During his free time, he enjoys golfing, skiing, and bicycling.
