Hi! My name is Craig Drummond, I am a 27 year computer professional, an aspiring farmer\rancher and author of the soon to be released book "It's All Fun and Games Until Someone Loses a Nut"

Computers

I started teaching myself how to program computers at 11 years old when a relative gave our family a TI994/A computer for Christmas. After a few months of playing games I found that I could lose eight or ten hours in the blink of an eye trying to learn how to make the computer obey my commands. In junior high I had a fantastic math teacher who encouraged and mentored me to learn more. In High School I started winning awards and in college I went to work for my first computer company and I haven't looked back since. My career has included working for companies like Everex, WordPerfect, Campbell Services, Progressive Tool, Interim Technology, Alignmark Thompson Learning, Spherion, Mercury Interactive, Hewlett Packard & my most recent employeer Atlassian where I am a Premier Support Engineer specializing in Bitbucket and Stash

Survivor

In December 2007 I was diagnosed with Seminomas (Testicular Cancer). After surgery to remove the tumor, 30 days of targeted radiation, and a lot of prayer I am thankfully just over eight years cancer free. "It's All Fun and Games Until Someone Loses a Nut" is the story about my experience with learning I had cancer, the treatments, and the devastating aftermath in terms of my physical, emotional, and spirtual well being as well as the financial crisis caused by this dreaded disease.
