Artist/ art educator each inform the other. Educated as a traditional painter, becoming increasingly more digital. The iPad provides a mobile studio for me allowing me to create on the go... and I am always on the go. My work provides opportunity to respond to change, to make sense of the ebb and flow of life. While it empowers me to present new possibilities and a fresh/colorful way of looking at things. Abstraction for me is way to make universal connection, to strip away specifics and reveal the essence of underlying moment.

In the classroom I pride myself on integrating technology and inspiring innovation. Students are supported in creative risk taking to find their artistic voice and direction. Our classroom is a place of exploration and productive play, linking learning to fun.
