Jake’s environmental, land use, and property rights law practice based in Tampa at Stearns Weaver Miller Weissler Alhadeff & Sitterson, PA allows him to counsel clients statewide in their interactions with federal, state, local governments, including assisting in a case before the Supreme Court of the United States. A fifth-generation Floridian, he grew up in Palatka working in his family’s timber operations. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Rhodes College in Memphis, where he studied economics, business, and German. Jake graduated with his juris doctor, magna cum laude, and a master of science in urban planning with a certificate in real estate development from Florida State University. At FSU, Jake was a Gubernatorial Fellow, which allowed him to participate in executive-branch policymaking and serve in the Department of Community Affairs. He keeps Florida landowners updated on developments in environmental and land use through his publications and a blog, The Florida Land Environment (jacobtcremer.com). Jake lives in Tampa with his wife Terin, a labor and employment attorney, and his dogs, Toby and Macy. In his free time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and traveling.
