Chris Farnum

I am a UX veteran and have been doing IA and user experience design for 24+ years. I work at General Motors as a Lead UX Researcher embedded in a user experience team at GM that designs interfaces for the systems that drive the manufacturing process in GM facilities. Previously I spent 4 years as a UXR on a team that designs consumer-facing automotive apps and websites. Before specializing in UX research, I was a User Experience Designer and Information Architect for over 20 years. I started my career at the groundbreaking consulting firm Argus Associates. I'm proud to say that I am also a former reference librarian. I’m a passionate advocate for embedding the voice of the customer into the product and service design process.
