Francisco Cribari

Professor of Statistics and Freelance photographer in Recife, Brazil

I teach Statistics at Federal University of Pernambuco (Brazil). My main interests are econometrics, bootstrap and higher order asymptotics. I am also a freelance photographer. My photographs can be viewed at http://www.cribari.com.br . My other interests are Linux and baroque music. In particular, I enjoy listening to music composed by Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750). His music is one of my main sources of inspiration.

"Philosophy have I digested, The whole of Law and Medicine, From each its secrets I have wrested, Theology, alas, thrown in. Poor fool, with all this sweated lore, I stand no wiser than I was before." Goethe (Faust)
