Cristina Almanza

Cristina Almanza is an energetic individual and brings her experience and fresh perspective to any appointed project.

Cristina collaborates within multiple departments of Heroic Media, to execute initiatives and coordinate events. Cristina promotes the mission and values of Heroic Media through all aspects of her position, nationally and locally. In addition, Cristina communicates and corresponds with contributors to raise awareness of Heroic Media’s mission and programs.

Cristina works out of Heroic Media’s Austin office and has been with the organization since September 2012. Prior to joining Heroic Media, Cristina has served in a variety of industries including a background in customer service, broadcasting and video production. Cristina has a BA in Journalism and Mass Communications from the University of Northern Colorado.

Cristina's video production experience consists of script writing for news and weather, operating cameras, video editing on Final Cut Pro and Adobe Elements.

Cristina is a board member and contributes to a monthly blog through a Catholic media apostolate in Austin, TX. Austin Catholic New Media was co-founded by her husband Cristóbal to evangelize through media. Cristina also facilitates a teen leadership formation that meets on a weekly basis.
