Sharon Ofori

Hi I'm Sharon, retired from the State of Connecticut, Judicial Dept. where I worked for 25 years. I retired as a Chief Probation Officer in the Intake & Assessment Unit. For the past 4 years I have been living my dream job of selling Real Estate. This has been the toughest but most rewarding career I have ever had. Working independently as a Realtor, listing and selling houses to people you get to know from pure immersion fills your days with a lot of trepidation along with pride. A lot of times it is like baptism by fire, especially if you don't know the entire situation and bits and pieces of the scenerio emmerge as you go along, which is usually real estate at it's finest. That being said, I am adaptable to change. I love meeting new people and proving my worth as I feel no one really knows me in the beginning but soon realize I am a honest hard working women who really just wants the best from each customer that I work with. I have other interest as well, I love plants & planting and can't wait each year for spring, one of my favorite seasons. I love to see the first sprouts of anything that I have planted. My second favorite season is fall, my birthday is in the fall and I only have fond memories of this time of the year. I took up tennis about 5 years ago and still can't seem to beat Serena~ but that's ok, I love the sport. I love to be involved in community endeavors that help less fortunate people. My handle is crosswordsharon which gives an indication of what I like to do in my spare time. I recently discovered scrabble on- line and can't seem to go to bed without playing for an hour. I have a grown daughter, Trish who also sells real estate and is into fitness. To keep up with her I try to work out a few times a week. That's my bio, I can go on and on, but I won't.
