A strategic, multidisciplinary entrepreneur with an eye for innovation, technology, and storytelling. In 2013, he founded ORA Scents, a tech startup company introducing the ORA, the world’s first app-enabled scent diffuser that allows users to create their own scents and control them in real time. Kevin has also competed in several business pitching competitions as well as case competitions (SFU Student Entrepreneur of the Year Competition, the Coast Capital Savings Venture Prize Competition, the LX Ventures Student Startup Challenge, SFU’s Peak Case Competition, and the Alberta Energy Competition). As Enactus Canada's 2015 Student Entrepreneur Provincial Champion for British Columbia, his expertise lies in the world of entrepreneurship and innovation, public speaking, new venture planning, and new product development and commercialization. His goal is to combine his experience and skills in these fields to execute awesome ideas and truly create value in people’s lives. Kevin Cruz is also a 4th year student studying Entrepreneurship & Innovation and Marketing at SFU’s Beedie School of Business.
