Katipunan cafes, beaches, virtual worlds

Chloe C. Cabrera is a Journalism major at the University of the Philippines College of Mass Communication. She is passionate about telling stories - the very reason why she enjoys being a travel, lifestyle, food, and gaming journalist.

Aside from being a student, she writes for e-sports/ gaming news siteMineski.net and geek/ gaming/ pop culture site Flipgeeks.com. She has also written for local IT/ science news site Newsbytes.ph.

In her most recent adventure, she served as one of thirty delegates to Save Philippine Seas and the US Embassy’s marine conservation SEA Camp. She is also a volunteer Social Media Management Assistant and former Project Handler & Writing Intern at The Spark Project, a Philippine crowdfunding platform dedicated to helping local startups and creative, innovative, and passion-driven projects.

She loves going on all sorts of adventures to discover cultures, natural wonders, restaurants, cafes, art, and everything else the world has to offer. Being an advocate for marine conservation, she feels most at home at the beach and enjoys volunteering for environmental causes.

She is an avid gamer, e-sports fan, arts & crafts enthusiast, and a lover of anything related to fantasy, medieval culture, science fiction, anime, and fashion. She was also the editor-in-chief of her high school’s school paper, and has substantial experience in public relations and event coverage, organization and management.

On a regular day, you will most likely find her passing her time at a cafe, gaming or anime convention, art gallery, or outdoor weekend market.
