I’m a pretty down to earth person who just enjoys life. I feel lucky that I grew up in the SF Bay Area with such technology advances and where innovation is contagious. I have deep interests in cultures, which lead to my BA studies to be in history. I have such high respects for those who study history and gain understanding as to why certain cultures have tendencies and traditions.

My interests and passion also expanded into all things media. I enjoy movies/film, video games, photography, animation, web design, print and fonts! I enjoy being around others, interacting, building projects, collaborating and of course using multimedia and technology. However, like all great minglers there is needed downtime. I have found that there are times to just strap down close the door and hammer down the work. In my personal downtime, I tend to do hiking, zumba, cross-training, attempting to solve the Rubix cube again or continue in my self-teaching of the Spanish language. I’m a lover of learning. I am always trying to learn new things, as well as help those who want to learn. I volunteer at an elementary school and help 1st graders reach grade level in their reading skills.

As far as work, I have had wonderful opportunities. I worked with a start up company and filled many different roles within that company. Although not my working title, my position was known as the heart of the company. It was up to me to keep the heart of the company pumping. This included so many factors, being the voice of the company, staying in-tune with the employee morale and situations, and many times steering projects or people in directions to avoid disasters. I also fell in love with higher education while working at the University of Utah. I mainly excel in areas of coordination, logistics, analysis, communication and high fives. I will operate my own business one day.
