Chris Palmer

I love science, reading anything and everything, taekwondo, playing guitar, design, learning new things and meeting new people.

I'm an undergraduate student in Engineering Chemistry at Queen's university, with research experience in synthetic biology, materials chemistry and green technology. I'm also the General Manager of the Queen's Fuel Cell Team and led the 2010 Queen's iGEM Team. I have strong leadership, team management and lab skills.

I like to 'look forward' by thinking and writing about how the things could be better, and how we might be able to make these improvements happen. I'm particularly fascinated by the relationships and communication between science and society.

I'm looking forward to living in a sustainable future.
