Cynthia S Wittstock

An experienced marketing manager, Cynthia S. Wittstock has enjoyed an accomplished career in the field of satellite and wireless communications that has taken her to many parts of the world. She has been based in London, in the British Virgin Islands, and in the eastern United States. While with Plexsys International Corp., a global cellular service enterprise located in Herndon, Virginia, Cynthia S. Wittstock organized trade shows in Latin America and Europe, among her other responsibilities.

Cynthia S. Wittstock attended Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania, where she majored in business administration with a marketing concentration. While there, she balanced her academic course load with several campus activities; for example, she hosted a college radio program, served as President of Gamma Phi Beta sorority, and remained active with the American Marketing Association. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in 1986.

Following graduation, Cynthia S. Wittstock worked briefly as an Assistant Buyer for a clothing retailer before being recruited to Bell Atlantic Mobile Systems Inc. as a Sales Representative. For the next two years, she repeatedly exceeded her annual quota, earning induction into the President's Cabinet in 1987 and 1988. For eight successive months in 1998, she was named the top salesperson.

Next, Cynthia S. Wittstock relocated to the Caribbean to join Boatphone Marketing Ltd., a telecommunications company catering to seafaring clientele. Initially hired as its Sales and Marketing Manager, she was later promoted to Regional Sales and Marketing Manager and then to Yacht Communications Project Manager.

In subsequent years, Cynthia S. Wittstock moved to London, where she acted as Business Development Officer, and later as Market Manager, for Inmarsat PLC. During her tenure with the company, she identified new business targets and marketed satellite communications products to ferry, yacht, and cruise ship operators around the world.
