I am interested in computers and computer software, specifically computers' ability to help people create or use tools that improve their lives. I want everyone to be empowered and use computers without worry, and to ensure computers leave a positive impression on the general public.

To that end, I have worked in software quality assurance for over ten years and in as many industries, including K-12 education, transaction clearing & secure payment processing, journalism, content management, investigatory services, music instruction, native mobile applications, and web development.

I evangelize the Internet, simplicity, reproducibility, systems thinking, user advocacy, and prefer efficiency to shortcuts. I like people with strong opinions, and I treat ideas that challenge what I believe as an opportunity to gain perspective.
