Dale Legan began his career in the commodity brokerage industry in 1991, before he graduated from college, working with Oracle Newsletters. As a Financial Analyst, Dale Legan generated daily analytical reports on commodity markets, including T-bonds, gold, and corn, for a forecast telephone hotline program and updated market data files. Mr. Legan also developed a version of the Cycle Summation Index forecasting software for Windows and aided with marketing and client relations. In two years, Dale Legan grew the business to 300 clients from 17 initially, and he expanded the company’s forecasting focus with two more commodity market newsletters.

Following his time at Oracle Newsletters, he spent six months operating as a Commodity Futures Broker with Allen-Burton Commodities. In this role, he conducted quantitative and technical analyses of agricultural commodity futures. Dale Legan assisted in networking new clients and maintaining client interactions, in addition to mailing daily technical commentary on agricultural markets. In his 6-month term with the company, Mr. Legan developed a book of nearly 100 clients. In a subsequent position with Jackson Commodities, as Branch Manager, he managed equity printouts, orders, and accounts; made margin calls; and ensured compliance with Commodity Futures Trading Commission requirements. In addition to opening and maintaining client accounts, Mr. Legan mailed a daily newsletter and maintained files and records.

Currently Dale Legan also writes and programs multicycle forecasting software and advises clients investing in agricultural commodity markets. He also conducts U.S. and international economic forecasting. Previously, he developed and programmed multicycle indicators for SuperCharts and TradeStation, in addition to writing weekly agricultural market newsletters.
