Dalene Davies published Sock Monsters Invade Earth and followed up with home-school journals. Now she creates Kooky Tales & Quests that engage the mind, delights the spirit, sparks a laugh, & ignites the imagination through a What’s Their Story process to inspire parents and children to create their own stories.
Born in Spokane, WA, she now lives in the human settlement of Chattaroy, WA, where trees, nature, and open space give her room to breathe and create.
She is a retired homeschool instructor, cat slave, creative project creator, and PCO for WA Dems in Precinct 6032.
She lived in Taiwan from ages 3 to 6 with her family, where spiders, earthquakes, and open meat markets infused her with different ways of life.
She uses literary and visual works to create new worlds using homemade projects, stories, quests, and plays to encourage families to write together.
