Grant Daly
Management Consultant in New Zealand
I am embarking on a new venture in offering consultancy and advisory services targetted at people and organisations who want to achieve meaningful outcomes within the domain of human resource and organisational development contexts. I have had more than 20 years of senior management and directorate-level experience in the public and private sectors and I have completed Advanced Diplomas of Human Resources, Management and a Diploma of Frontline Management (Australian Qualifications Framework) I can provide sufficient experiences of breakdowns and breakthroughs to empower others on similar journeys to learn the ropes. for themselves.
Three times in my working life I have been the recipient of research and study bursaries; initially to complete a Diploma in Social Work (1989-90), subsequently as a Research Fellow (Australian Government 2008) to look at skill deficiency issues in construction and most recently by the former Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations in NSW to report on the post-GFC effects on construction in north-eastern NSW.
My core character attributes are integrity, authenticity and humility; I have learned and practised what I know and do through the contributions of others.
The pictures are the butterfly which speaks to me about metamorphosis, the ability to evolve and change ourselves. The Killer Whale (Orca) reminds me about absolute freedom as one of the ocean's smartest and most powerful inhabitants. The Tiki is a symbol that assures me I am always looked over and after, and it links me to the land I love and now once again call home.
