Dan has been a leader in creative consultation and award-winning interactive design for over 20 years. His strong business acumen in the areas of design and interactive marketing has led to the establishment of three successful, nationally recognized new media companies.

Having co-produced the internet phenomenon Elf Bowling, Dan is considered by many to be one of the forefathers of Advergaming. Elf Bowling became the most successful internet distributed game and was installed more times than Doom or Quake. (At its peak, Elf Bowling was downloaded and installed 900 times a second.) USA Today called it, "one of the best viral marketing success stories of the year.”

Since then he has helped create over 1,000 interactive experiences for a broad-range of brand name companies, including American Airlines, AT&T, Baskin-Robbins, General Motors, Kimberly-Clark, Kraft, LEGO, Microsoft, Motorola, M&Ms Brand, Nokia, Post Cereal, Universal Pictures and Verizon.

Dan is the creative lead behind the game Chicktionary, an iPhone app that has been the #1 Word Game, #1 Family Game and #4 Top App on the Apple iTunes store. It was named the #1 Word Game App at the 2009 MacWorld Conference.

In 2005, Dan and his business partners sold their latest company Blockdot, to Media General, Inc., a publicly owned communications company.

Dan has won numerous awards for his work, including the prestigious Brandweek Magazine's Marketer of the Next Generation Award, Entrepreneur Magazine's Top 100 Business, several Ad-Tech awards and Adweek's Buzz Award. He speaks at numerous marketing and gaming conferences every year.
