Dan Shapiro is a Los Angeles-based journalist, musician, editor, screenwriter, artist, and producer.

His new band Tres recently released their debut "demo 01" on September 16, 2014.

Dan currently writes for VICE Fightland, the Huffington Post, and the USC Center on Public Diplomacy. Previously, his work has been published by CNN, Time Out New York, and City Weekend Shanghai.

Dan has produced two television series: The Shed, which aired on The Food Network, and RUFF Journey, which was televised nationally across China.
