Dan Zwirn
Daniel B. Zwirn, Chief Investment Officer of Arena Investors, AFC and AOC. From 2009 to 2015, Mr. Zwirn co-founded or established several financial businesses including Applied Data Finance, a consumer finance company; Lantern Endowment Partners, a special situation lending fund manager; North Mill Capital, an asset-based lender; and North Mill Equipment Finance, an equipment lessor.
Previously, Mr. Zwirn founded and managed the business of D.B. Zwirn & Co., a $6 billion alternative investment firm of which he was Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer. In addition, from 2001 to 2004, Mr. Zwirn was Managing Director and Head of the Special Opportunities Group of Highbridge Capital Management, LLC. Before that, he served as Founder and Group Head of the Special Opportunities Group of MSD Capital, LP, the private investment firm of Michael Dell.
He is or has been a member of The Council of Foreign Relations and The Young Presidents Organization and serves or has served on the Board of Trustees of New York's Public Theater (Treasurer), the Barnard College Board of Trustees, and the Executive Board of the University of Pennsylvania's Jerome Fisher Program in Management & Technology.
