I recently resigned from UPS to pursue a long-time passion and am super excited about the opportunity. I’m currently in the latter part of training and becoming a Recovery Specialist. My job will consist of aiding others with co-occurring disorders, more specifically, individuals struggling with addiction. When I’m not doing that I’m usually writing short stories, poems of some sort, or watching a little tv; but my true passion is writing & recording songs. For now at least, I feel blessed, and the future looks bright.
I still love to challenge my potential for new things but when it comes right down to it, I really am an artist at heart. MUSIC, primarily singing & playing guitar is and has always been my most creative outlet. Getting the chance to spend time with family is also a blessing I don’t take for granted. What I find most amazing is that all of these things are attuned to 1 primary goal., helping others.., and that helps me.
