Dan Eldridge

Dan Eldridge is a freelance journalist currently based in Philadelphia.

He most recently worked as the managing editor of the Consumer Technology Publishing Group, a division of North American Publishing Company (NAPCO), where he was responsible for five B2B print magazines (including Dealerscope and CEDIA's Electronic Lifestyles) serving the consumer electronics and home technology industries. At NAPCO, he was also editor-in-chief of a consumer technology website that covered the digital publishing industry.

His previous staff positions have included editorial posts at Pittsburgh City Paper and Philadelphia Weekly, and contributing editor posts with Bisnow Media, where he covered the Southeastern Pennsylvania commercial real estate market, and Issue Media Group's Flying Kite, where he covered the economic growth and development of the Greater Philadelphia area.

Dan is the author of all three editions of "Moon Pittsburgh" (Avalon Travel), and the co-author of Lonely Planet guidebooks to Turkey, Thailand, the Philippines, and New England. He has also contributed to travel guides for Forbes Travel and Northstar Travel Media.
