In my daily life, I am an Associate Professor and Statistician in the School of Computer Science. My research studies span such topics as alternative data collection, human-computer interaction, pedagogy, and statistical methods for public health and ecological risk assessment.

I am co-founder of Farm To Fork, a project that seeks to improve the quality and quantity of food donated to emergency food providers, and co-founder of GuelphHacks, an annual interdisciplinary hackathon hosted by the School of Computer Science at the University of Guelph with a focus on developing solutions to broad social issues. I am also the co-creator of the Ideas Congress (ICON) Transdisciplinary Classroom.
