Danie Banks was born and raised in Bronx, NY. During their time at Cornell University, they discovered their love of technology and software programming. They then used their time at Startup Institute to enhance their programming skills and network in the thriving NY tech scene. In their spare time, Danie enjoys strategic board games, conscious hip-hop and fighting for social justice. Their career goals are to pursue a full-time career as a developer while volunteering with various organizations to bring their newfound love of technology back to inner-city communities.
