Daniel Jafari is an emergency physician and surgical critical care specialist working at the North Shore University Hospital. He holds faculty appointments with the Departments of Emergency Medicine and Surgery as an Assistant Professor. He is the Associate Program Director of Surgical Critical Care fellowship. Dr. Jafari is an alumnus of Iran University of Medical Sciences and Imperial College London.

His research interest focus is video-review based research of outcomes of cardiac arrest and trauma team performance, and point of care ultrasound in the delivery of trauma critical care in the emergency department.

In his free time, he enjoys reading, biking, running, and different cuisines. He is a lifelong supporter of the Juventus soccer team, and an amateur mixologist.
