Danielle Masterson

Massachusetts

Danielle Masterson is the Youth Services Librarian at the Flint Memorial Library.

Danielle graduated from Boston University's broadcast journalism program in 1999 and worked at the Stoneham Sun for five years, as both reporter and editor. After teaching for several years, obtaining her master's degree from the University of Massachusetts–Boston, she jumped back into community journalism with Patch where she worked at the local, regional and national levels.

Since November of 2011, Danielle has written twonovels as part of the NaNoWriMo project at her public library and the global So You Think You Can Write contest.

When not at the library, Danielle enjoys reading (particularly anything by Sarah Waters, Chuck Hogan and Conn Iggulden), writing, listening to music, watching Doctor Who and other British dramas, and volunteering.

She lives in the Greater Boston area with her husband, QuinStreet Regional Editor Les Masterson, and their two dogs, Chloe and Rosie.
