I am a software and web developer with over 30 years commercial design, development and product management experience.

Having designed and managed popular Award winning 90s programs like Wordworth, Datastore and Organiser on the Commodore Amiga and then Windows financial products Digita Taxability Pro, Microsoft Money and Microsoft Tax Saver; I have moved more into a development engineering role as the creative side has always been something that has given me a lot of enjoyment.

This breadth of experience has given me a good grounding in consumer and commercial software products from multiple sides and responsibilities.

In the 00s I co-founded GipsyMedia Limited and designed and co-developed the popular TV product, DigiGuide For Windows (http://digiguide.tv) as well as numerous web sites including http://uk-tv-guide.com and http://mtedb.com.

In more recent times GipsyMedia was sold to EBS New Media Ltd and I moved into a new role taking responsibility for designing and developing their quite basic in-house scheduling system for TV, Radio programming.

Over the years I re-engineered this core system into something which is now a very powerful cloud based SaaS system called Pawa.tv.

Pawa now boasts Discovery, BBC Worldwide, BT Sport, ITV, UKTV, RTE, AMC, Viasat, MultiChoice and many other small and large independent channels as users and customers of the system I developed.

Recently EBS were acquired by the PA Media Group (formerly the Press Association), one of the oldest UK companies and a very respected media production house. I still work on Pawa but also a lot of their in-house sports and TV data systems.

My computing experience started in user experience and user interface design, but after teaching myself C, C++, C# and Javascript/Typescript I now have a fair amount of engineering experience.

I love creating products people enjoy using and regularly spend my evenings tinkering with new technologies on my laptop whilst half-watching TV

I am very lucky to still get a lot of enjoyment with being creative and producing features and systems people use everyday to make their jobs a lot easier.
