Daria Dahle Jones

Based in Gallup, New Mexico, Daria Dahle Jones is a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA), a medical professional trained and authorized to administer anesthesia to patients. Since December 2010, she has worked with patients as a stuff nurse anesthetist at Gallup Indian Medical Center. Daria Dahle Jones maintains responsibility for coverage of the hospital in emergency cases, with 24-hour on-call duties at least 15 days a month. She also handles intubations and line placements in the emergency room as needed.

Ms. Jones earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Evansville in Indiana, then enlisted in the United States Army. During her 20 years of military service, she attained the rank of lieutenant colonel and acquired a postgraduate degree in nursing anesthesia and a master of science in nursing. She won the Sikorsky Combat Flight Hour Award for her service on transport missions with critically wounded soldiers during deployment with the 28th and 67th Combat Support Hospitals in Iraq.
