Darin Alpert

Darin Alpert is a 27 year old San Diego based entrepreneur with one successful exit so far. He is now an active angel investor and has advised a variety of start-ups.

He grew up in Encinitas and went to University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA graduating in 2008. He majored in Sports Management and worked in Corporate America for 4 years before becoming an entrepreneur.

He has always had a passion for business and started buying and selling items on eBay as a hobby in 2011. He left Corporate America in February 2012 and became the COO of Find Me Gluten Free, a gluten-free app that grew to 2,000,000+ users . He negotiated a deal with Mark Cuban (Shark Tank/Dallas Mavericks owner) to advertise/invest and that led to a profitable acquisition of FMGF in July 2013.

He has been featured in Entrepreneur Magazine twice, Forbes Magazine and the LA Times. He was also a judge for San Diego Entrepreneur Day in 2013. His passion is helping and advising start-ups.
