Darin Janecek

A senior corporate finance executive with 20+ years of experience, I am a leader who empowers companies with the analytical, strategic, transactional, and foundational leadership that drives record-setting financial performance and profitable business growth.

A CPA and MBA, I bring a broad perspective and insight gained through financial consulting and extensive M&A activity in public and private firms in multiple industries: software (SaaS/ e-commerce), technology, manufacturing, insurance, healthcare, and others.

My career began in “Big Four” public accounting with Deloitte & Touché, followed by a role as senior financial analyst at CNA Insurance, one of the nation's largest commercial insurers where I was ultimately promoted to Director of Mergers and Acquisitions.

A consultant with Crowe Horwath and FTI Consulting, I provided advisory services on due diligence engagements for private equity and other cash-flow-based lenders. In total, I have successfully closed more than 20 M&A transactions and have spearheaded due diligence on countless others, including joint ventures, new product lines and markets, bankruptcy restructuring, and more. I have orchestrated SEC and SOX compliance, public offerings, and NASDAQ listing processes.

Joining ARI Network Services in 2009, I played a key role in revitalizing an under-performing company and transforming the finance team into a valued strategic business partner. Within 2 years, I was appointed CFO and went on to improve valuation as measured by virtually every key performance metric. During this time, I was nominated for the Milwaukee Business Journal’s CFO of the Year and received a staff award for providing fearless leadership in trying times.

A member of the Wisconsin Institute of CPAs, I hold a BBA in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin and an MBA (Finance) from Loyola University.

In my spare time, I am an avid reader who enjoys all genres of music, as well as weekly hikes along Wisconsin's scenic Ice Age Trail.
