Darryl McEachin

A native of New York City, New York, Darryl moved to Maxton, North Carolina at an early age. He graduated from West Robeson Senior High School and later attended Saint Andrews Presbyterian College in Laurinburg, North Carolina. Darryl started piano lessons at 8 years old, participated in many bands and church music ministries and studied music theory during his college years. He also studied with jazz great Tom Coster, and has performed with Jeff Lorber, Kid Rock, Take 6, John Popper, Aaron Neville, Amy Grant, Trick Pony, Lee Greenwood, and Restless Heart. Prior to joining the Air Force Band, Darryl toured twice with the Air Force's "Tops in Blue" touring showcase, serving as keyboard player, bandleader, arranger and tour director He continues to work on the arranging staff for the program. Additionally, Darryl has a wide range of commercial music production and mixing experience. He's worked on several Air Force projects to include audio recording, video scoring, and musical direction.
