I am a passionate and empathetic leader seasoned in marketing and technology. I consider myself a marketer in the digital age, rather than a "digital marketer", as I have successfully blended traditional and digital marketing — paid media (display ads, pay-per-click, promoted social), owned media (content marketing, websites, social, email, mobile) + earned media (ratings & reviews, PR, blogger outreach) — to drive awareness, conversions, revenue, and advocacy.

While at CleanSlate Technology Group, I had been charged with the creation of the entire marketing function within the company, and leading all activities related to managing the brand, driving awareness, and generating demand. This was a newly created position but was eliminated due to budget constraints.

Prior to CleanSlate, I built and led a digital center of excellence (DCOE) team at Belden, a global provider of signal transmission and security solutions in enterprise and industrial markets. In May 2020, there were massive layoffs due to COVID and I was impacted as a result—quickly recruited to CleanSlate.

Prior to Belden, I was in global digital marketing for Beckman Coulter Life Sciences where I helped drive lead generation programs for the flow cytometry business unit, a top revenue generator for the life sciences division. I was recruited to Belden by my former boss, who offered me a "once-in-a-lifetime" opportunity to help build a digital center of excellence to drive a large digital transformation across the enterprise.

Prior to Beckman, I led a marketing team at NextGear Capital, a Cox Automotive company and provider of financial services to more than 23,000 automotive dealers across the US, Canada, Ireland and the United Kingdom. In December 2016, the parent company (based in Atlanta) conducted a large reduction in force and I was impacted.

Prior to NextGear Capital, I led digital marketing strategy for the Delta Faucet brand and launched “Inspired Living”, the company’s first content marketing initiative that has increased website referral traffic by 246% from Facebook, 1,406% from Twitter, and 797% from Pinterest. (Yes, really.)

I live in Carmel, Indiana with my wife and four boys. (Yes, four.) I love marketing, entrepreneurship, technology, music, my family, and spicy Indian food.
