At James Madison University I was captain of the swim team. I earned an undergraduate degree in Business Management while going undefeated in my senior season for the Dukes. That year we won our conference championship and I received the swimmer of the conference award. After being a collegiate scholarship swimmer at the division 1 level and achieving many conference titles and school records I became the head coach and owner of a club swimming program that had over 100 high performing athletes. I received my Masters degree from Texas Christian University while coaching there and then began my journey as an educator. I was a high school business, history, and PE teacher for six years. Coming from a family background that included growing up in campus housing on a boarding school campus and having teachers as parents, becoming a teacher was inevitable. Recently, however, after 20 years as a swimming coach at the club, high school, and division1 level I transitioned my focus to business. Currently, I create custom e-learning packages for clients. I bring years of winning experience, combined with patience and a cool level hand, to my philosophy of training. I currently work at Interstate Batteries.
