I am a writer, Blogger and political activist with a background in Finance and Public Transport. I have run the well regarded and widely referenced “Dáithaí C” Irish Expat Blog since 2007 and this and its Blog traffic have been merged with The Skibbereen Eagle. I have written on Transport, Political and London issues and contributed to The Guardian, London Evening Standard and BBC. A Labour Party activist and campaigner I have run for office in the UK in “True Blue” Bucks and assisted the Labour Campaign for Mayor of London in 2012.

As well as being Managing Editor of The Skibbereen Eagle I am available for freelance contributions on Irish interest, Transport, The Tube, London and UK Politics – please make initial contact by email. My background is in Finance, Business Analysis and Public Transport, latterly as Performance Reporting Manager for London Underground on which I'm an SME. I am currently working on two publishing projects, The Great Circle Line Journey and The Story of Kos. A proud Dubliner I am now days found nesting in the warm hearted centre of West Cork, Ireland close to the Wild Atlantic Way.
