David Armano
Strategist, Leader, and Public Speaker in the U.S.
I’m an enterprise strategy and AI leader focused on helping large organizations navigate digital transformation with clarity, discipline, and a human-first lens. I currently serve as Digital Solutions + Innovation Lead at Launch by NTT Data, where I advise senior leaders on AI-enabled strategy—translating emerging technology into governed, executable roadmaps that drive adoption and measurable business outcomes. In 2024, CX Network recently named me one of the top 50 most influential customer experience professionals.
Over the past 15+ years, I’ve guided enterprises through complex change and multiple digital transformations. I spent more than a decade at Edelman in senior leadership roles, helping modernize and scale digital, analytics, and experience capabilities while advising C-suite and board-level stakeholders in risk-aware environments. I’ve also held leadership roles at Digitas, Critical Mass, and Agency.com during the formative years of modern digital experience.
My recent work centers on enterprise AI adoption, including generative AI, intelligent agents, and analytics-driven decision systems. I’ve led AI strategy at Ringer Sciences, served as Senior Director of CX Strategy at the multimodal agent platform, Soul Machines, and partnered with GM's joint venture, Cruise, on digital experience initiatives tied to autonomous technology. Across these roles, my focus has been consistent: aligning AI capabilities with business strategy, governance models, operating constraints, and organizational readiness.
I’m also a visual thinker, a frequent speaker, and a writer who covers AI, experience design, leadership, and enterprise transformation. My longstanding blog, Logic+Emotion, was considered an industry standard, and I now share thoughts in my Substack newsletter, David by Design.I have also contributed to outlets including Forbes, Bloomberg, Fast Company, and The Harvard Business Review. My current work explores Intelligent Experiences (IX), the agent economy, and what responsible, scalable AI looks like inside real organizations—not labs or demos.
