David Futrelle
Writer in Evanston, Illinois
I run the blog We Hunted the Mammoth, which tracks (and mocks) online misogyny and the Men's Rights Movement.
My writing has appeared in a wide variety of places, ranging from The Cut, the HuffPost,Salon, Time.com, The American Prospect, the Washington Post, the Los Angeles Times, and the New York Times. Back when I wrote about tech and finance I was a staff writer at Money magazine.
I was also behind the Confused Cats Against Feminism blog, a 2014 viral hit that got media mentions in dozens of outlets, ranging from Newsweek to Le Monde.
I live in Evanston with two cats.
