I am a self-starter, energetic, and keen to learn. I am flexible and creative in my proven, structured approach to creative problem solving. I have great communication skills; am diligent, thorough, and realistic, and am both honest and hardworking. I am hands on and thrive in a collaborative environment, having the dichotomous traits of being a natural leader yet also taking directions well. In addition, I complete projects on time and can work independently as needed.

From a young age, I would take apart mechanical and electrical appliances, devices and toys to investigate the inner-workings. In high school, I joined the F.I.R.S.T. Robotics Team, where I discovered my true passion for design and engineering. As a Team Leader in my junior year, I helped design and also pilotted the robot that won several competitions and made it to the national quarter finals. While studying engineering at Rutgers University and up until recently, I served as a mentor to the same robotics team. Through this experience, I learned valuable cooperative and leadership skills, and I recognized the great potential that lies in collaborative work. A perfect example is my college senior design project; a Vertial Axis Wind Turbine (VAWT) wind focuser, which was bestowed the "Best Societal Impact" award.
