I'm a visual communicator with strong roots in graphic design and vector illustration, currently employed by Indiana University Libraries as a graphic designer and communications coordinator for the Lilly Library. In my role, I focus heavily on exhibit design, promotional products, and digital and print marketing materials.

I love a visual message communicated with clarity and imagination. Whether working on a new brand, a user interface, a good old-fashioned print book, or a motion graphic, I strive to create a cohesive vision that embodies the client's mission and connects to their audience with confidence and style.

My wife, Jennie, and I run Blue Aster Studio, a small design business creating art and gifts celebrating nature. We've worked with many small nature and wildlife rehabilitation orgs to further their mission and advocate for a healthier relationship of people and environment.

Exploring the history of life on Earth through art has been a love of mine for what feels like eons. Jennie and I also co-created the children's book Mammoth is Mopey and I founded the popular dinosaur art blog Love in the Time of Chasmosaurs. My paleontology-inspired art and design is available at my Etsy shop, Studio 252MYA, and Redbubble.

Oh, and that scruffy little mutt is Wallace.
